Trying to eat healthy on holiday - no way! Yup, it’s difficult, all this rich food etc. I’ve taken appetite suppression pills to help, go for a big breakfast and try to skip lunch. I’ve made salads and protein a priority but this isn’t always possible. I’ve made a point of trying deserts and if I don’t like it, just bin the dish. I’m also avoiding buffets as much as possible. Sushi is a good option and being in asia, it’s easier to come by then the sad UK which just has burgers fries and colas everywhere. Fruit juice is on the menu here and it’s good quality so I’m hitting that too. Trying to go 5-6 hours without food too. I doubt I’ll lose weight, but any gain should be minimal…at the same time enjoying some of the culinary delights available.
