End of the 4 week holiday…did I put on weight?

I’ve not put much weight on, my belt is still at the same notch. 

Still my fitness levels must be down - I only managed 4 workouts in 4 weeks.  Opposed to my usual 16.

Some tips I did to keep the weight off

- walk a lot.  This holiday was mostly city breaks joined together, so I managed up to 2 hours walking per day

- Skinny Mini diet pills to surpress appetite.  Just took one early in the morning and had a big breako, v.small lunch or no lunch…although no lunch meant my blood sugar dropped.

- eat lots of protein….in the restaurant I went for protein and salad with some carbs last.

- stay off the coca cola and on the fruit juice/water

Still, I think I might have gained a few lbs but nothing drastic, considering I was eating deserts and not doing cardio, that was a pretty good result.  Last holiday I put on 20lbs in 3 weeks…..

Trying to eat healthy on holiday

Trying to eat healthy on holiday - no way!  Yup, it’s difficult, all this rich food etc.  I’ve taken appetite suppression pills to help, go for a big breakfast and try to skip lunch.  I’ve made salads and protein a priority but this isn’t always possible.  I’ve made a point of trying deserts and if I don’t like it, just bin the dish.  I’m also avoiding buffets as much as possible.  Sushi is a good option and being in asia, it’s easier to come by then the sad UK which just has burgers fries and colas everywhere.  Fruit juice is on the menu here and it’s good quality so I’m hitting that too.  Trying to go 5-6 hours without food too.  I doubt I’ll lose weight, but any gain should be minimal…at the same time enjoying some of the culinary delights available.

The Lose Weight Blog

Welcome to the Lose Weight Blog…my personal progress charting my battle to lose fat…

Currently 238lbs / 6 foot, I was previously 266lbs.  It’s taken me 18 months to lose 28lbs.  I would have liked to loose more…hence this blog.

 Gym routine is 4 cardio sessions and 2 weight sessions per week.  I just finished a lat/shoulder workout today, I supersetted at the end without much rest period but could only manage 10 minutes cardio afterwards.

Had one of the new EAS 60% protein bars - yuk! Just rancid with an aftertaste of sick. But all good for you, lol.
